The Long Island Board of REALTORS® Installs 2019 President, Dianne Scalza

The Long Island Board of REALTORS® Inc. (LIBOR) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dianne Scalza of Exit Realty Achieve in Smithtown, as the 2019 Board President.  Dianne was sworn into office by the installation took place during the association’s Annual Installation and Awards Dinner Dance held on November 20, 2018 at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury.  Dianne will serve as the 78th President of the Long Island Board of REALTORS®.

Dianne Scalza is a Licensed Associate Broker.  A former nurse, she has been practicing real estate for over 32 years.

During that time, she has had a very diverse career.  She has managed many offices, been a company troubleshooter to boost office income and moral, and has owned her own company. She has also been a company trainer and is a New York State certified instructor.

In 2009, Dianne was awarded the REALTOR® Salesperson of the Year award, by LIBOR. One of her proudest moments to date. Aside from being the President of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Long Island Chapter in 2011, Dianne has served as LIBOR Suffolk County Vice President. LIBOR Secretary, Treasurer and most recently President Elect. She has chaired the RPAC and Professional Standards Committees and has served on many other committees including, Grievance, Public Relations, Legislative and Nominating Committee.

On the State level, Dianne serves on the New York State Association of REALTORS® (NYSAR) Board of Directors and has attended State Meetings and Conventions since 2003. On the National level Dianne has been a National Association of REALTORS® Director since 2012.

Dianne holds numerous designations, including Certified Buyer’s Representative, an Accredited Buyer Representative and Short Sale and Foreclosure Specialist.  She enjoys teaching and training as a way to give back to the real estate community.

 In her community, Dianne is a volunteer Notary at Good Samaritan Hospital and has served as a Director for the Suffolk Country Girl Scouts. She has maintained a strong and extraordinary work ethic. Anyone who knows Dianne will tell you she has a wonderful sense of humor, enjoys good conversation and loves to make gourmet cupcakes and lots of chocolate!

Dianne has three adult children: Christian, Allison, and Matthew and adores her two darling granddaughters, Marissa and Carina.
