2016 MLSLI™ Leadership Names President David Lucas

The Multiple Listing Service of Long Island, Inc. (MLSLI™) has recently named a new Executive Committee for 2016. Leading the MLSLI of Long Island is incoming President David Lucas. David was installed into office by MLS and LIBOR Past President and Board General Counsel Cathy Nolan at the MLSLI Installation and Recognition Luncheon held on November 18, 2015 at the Woodbury Country Club in Woodbury. 

David Lucas has been a licensed Realtor® for over 15 years, and has been a member of the Long Island Board of REALTORS® (LIBOR) and MLSLI since 2001.  David is the Principal Broker of D. Lucas Realty in Laurelton.  He is founder and President of Queens Realtist Group which is a chapter of National Association of Real Estate Brokers.  On the state level David has served on NYSAR’s Professional Standards Committee.  He has served as the VP of Queens in 2011, 2012 and currently in 2015.  In addition, David also served as the MLS Secretary in 2013.  David served on LIBOR’s Awards Committee and Professional Standards Committee and was Chair in 2013.  On the MLS side David served on the MLS Technology and Services Committee, Nominating Committee, Strategic Planning Committee and the Procedures Committee. David holds designations as an ABR, CBR, GRI, SFR, SRES, BPOR, RSSP and CDPE.

Joining Lucas on the 2016 MLSLI Executive Committee members are Vice President Suffolk Michael Mendicino, Vice President Nassau Vincent DellAccio, Vice President Queens Walauddin (Buddy) Hoosein, Treasurer Kevin Loiacono and Secretary John Fitzgerald.
