The NYSAR Community Service Award recognizes REALTORS’® community involvement supporting initiatives aimed at a community’s youth, improving the quality of education, quality of life for older Americans, homelessness prevention, as well as efforts following natural disasters and other community needs.
A member of the Long Island Board of REALTORS® (LIBOR), KC is a long-time activist and leader; and has spent much of his life dedicated to bettering his community. During the COVID-19 pandemic, KC provided necessities such as food, cleaning supplies, masks, and other inaccessible items to College Point families in need every week.
Among his other endeavors, KC is a past president of the Rotary Club of New York, Queens, the oldest and largest service organization in the world. In this position, he helped bring business and professional leaders together to provide humanitarian service and advance goodwill and peace throughout the world. Currently, he serves as President of College Point Civic and Taxpayers Association, where he works tirelessly to aid their mission to improve the quality of life for residents in the College Point community.
“I am super excited to win this award,” said KC. “Receiving this honor is special. To be chosen out of almost 65,000 REALTORS® in the state will push me to reach the next level and achieve even bigger goals. It’s truly very special.”
Along with an inscribed award, a grant of $1,500 will also be made in KC’s name to a charity of his choice.
