The Long Island Board of Realtors® held a special Realtors® Against Hunger (RAH) Night at St. John's Carnesecca Arena for the St. John’s Red Storm Men's Basketball vs. Central Connecticut game on November 14, 2017. It was an entertaining evening of basketball, while raising awareness for the RAH campaign, which took center court at the game.
Throughout the months of November and December there will be numerous ways for LIBOR members to get involved in RAH, whether it’s holding a food drive in your office, volunteering with LIBOR’s partner Island Harvest, the largest hunger relief organization on Long Island, during their annual Turkey & Trimmings Collection Campaign, or making a monetary donation that will help feed a family this holiday season, http://rah.lirealtor.com will be your go-to-guide for giving back.
Our continued participation in this program provides the opportunity for our members to help less fortunate families enjoy special holiday meals and be able to count on regular meals throughout the holiday season.
Out on the court at St. John’s in support of RAH, are (l-r) St. John's Red Storm General Manager Erik Lowery, LIBOR President Dave Legaz and LIBOR President-elect Charlotte Van der Waag.
