Long Island Board of REALTORS® Achieves Platinum Commercial Services Accreditation from NAR

Nov 8, 2024

Long Island Board of REALTORS® (LIBOR) has been awarded the Platinum Commercial Services Accreditation by National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), in recognition of its exceptional commitment to serving the commercial real estate sector. This distinguished honor highlights LIBOR's Commercial Committee for its ongoing efforts to provide outstanding services, engage commercial practitioners, and advocate commercial real estate in the local market.

Introduced in 2008, NAR's Commercial Services Accreditation program empowers real estate associations to enhance their commercial offerings and cultivate strong relationships with commercial members. Undergoing significant improvements in 2022, the program introduced three recognition levels: Gold, Platinum, and Diamond, accompanied by an annual recertification process.

LIBOR achieved the Platinum level by surpassing 36 key benchmarks, demonstrating its continued dedication to providing resources and opportunities that support the growth and success of its commercial members.

“Commercial real estate is a driving force behind the economic growth of our communities, and this accreditation stands as a visible testament to the exceptional services our association delivers to commercial practitioners,” said Kevin Leatherman, LIBOR President. “It highlights the significant value we offer and the positive impact our resources have on the success of their businesses.”

LIBOR is proud to champion the vital role of commercial real estate for both our members and the communities we serve. This accreditation reaffirms our commitment to providing high-quality services, innovative programs, and valuable benefits that empower our members to enhance their professionalism and expand their business opportunities.
