The Long Island Board of REALTORS® Inc. (LIBOR) recognized REALTOR® Lawrence (Larry) Gardner as the recipient of this year’s revered Community Service Award at their Annual Installation and Awards Dinner held on November 22, 2016 at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury.
Larry Love. Larry Hugs. Larry Gardner's big heart and warm spirit earned him these aliases and that definitely carries over into Larry's real estate business.
During nearly a decade in Long Island real estate, Larry Gardner has established himself not only as a top caliber professional but as the compassionate heart of the community. As soon as you met Larry, you know you are in good hands. He is a shining example of what a REALTOR® is and is an outstanding facilitator of the American Dream to so many.
REALTORS® are ambassadors to the communities they serve, this is truly where Larry shines. Here are just a few of the ways that Larry has given back to the community through the years: Board Member and Long Island Founder for Camp Get-A-Way; Bell Ringer and Captain for 30 years for the Salvation Army; has been delivering food and serving Thanksgiving Dinner to those in need for ten years at the Mercy Inn Soup Kitchen in Wyandanch; North Babylon Committee Member, raising $10,000 in 2015, for American Cancer Society -Relay for Life; raised $4,000 and most recently raced in the 2016 NY Marathon to raise money for ACS – Team Determination; fundraising and ran the 2006 NY Marathon for Team for Kids; Lion’s Club of North Babylon Member; North Babylon Chamber of Commerce Member. The Gardner family have been sharing their home with foster children for ten years.
