December 5, 2012 - West Babylon, NY - The Long Island Board of REALTORS® Inc. (LIBOR) has named Moses Seuram, of Keystone Realty, as 2013 Board President. Moses was sworn into office by LIBOR and MLSLI Past President Marian Fraker-Gutin during the association’s recent Installation Gala held at the Crest Hollow Country Club. Marian was representing her late husband and Realtor® Lou Gutin, who Moses regarded as a cherished mentor. Moses will serve as the 72nd President of the Long Island Board of REALTORS®.
Moses Seuram began his Real Estate career in 1995 and currently works as an Associate Broker at Keystone Realty USA in Flushing Queens.
Moses joined LIBOR in 2001 and has been an active member ever since. He has chaired and served on many committees at the local, state and national level. In 2005, Moses began serving as a LIBOR Director and by 2007 he served as Jamaica Central Queens Chapter President. From there, he moved up the Association leadership ladder and has been serving on the LIBOR Executive committee or the past five years. He has served two terms as Queens County Vice President, two terms as LIBOR Treasurer, and currently as President-elect. Moses is the current Treasurer for the Long Island Realtor® Federal Credit Union, a position he has held for the past three years.
Moses believes that education, knowledge and integrity are the keys to success. He is proud to say that in 2008 he was amongst the first graduating class of the New York State Association of REALTORS® Leadership Academy. Moses holds the following real estate designation & certification; ABR, CBR, SRES, Green, AHWD and SFR. In 2007,
Moses chaired LIBOR’s Education Committee and Conference and in 2010 and 2011 he was the Chair of LIBOR’s Budget and Finance committee.
Moses has many accomplishments in his career. In 2010 he was especially honored to be named Realtor® Salesperson of the Year by the Long Island Board of REALTORS®. He has also been a recipient of the Realtor® Spirit Award and was recognized in his community as a “Man of Distinction” by the Council of the city of New York for his humanitarian services.
Moses was born in Guyana, South America and currently resides in Queens. In his free time he enjoys golfing. However lately, instead of swinging his clubs, he’s at the playground swinging with his two kids, Savannah and Ethan along with his beautiful and supportive wife Wendy.
