West Islip REALTOR® Liz English Appointed NYSAR Metropolitan Region Vice President

February 14, 2013 - West Babylon, NY - Liz  English, CBR, e-PRO, Green, SFR, SRES, of West Islip took the oath of office Monday, February 11, as the 2013 Metropolitan Region vice president of the New York State Association of REALTORS® (NYSAR) during the association’s inauguration ceremony held in conjunction with its business meetings at The Desmond Hotel and Conference Center in Albany, NY.
English, a REALTOR® for 28 years, is an associate broker with Netter Real Estate Inc. in West Islip, NY.

English was 2011 President of the Long Island Board of REALTORS® and the board’s REALTOR® Salesperson of the Year for 2007. She serves on numerous committees including public relations, budget and finance, education, legislative, fair housing and cultural diversity and she is currently serving as the 2013 RPAC Chairperson. In addition, she also serves on the Board of Governors for the Long Island Chapter Director of the Women’s Council of REALTORS®.

English is an active member of NYSAR, serving as director since 2004. She has also served on numerous committees including communications and public relations, organizational planning, and professional standards. She is also an annual participant in NYSAR’s Lobby Day.

She has been a director for the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) since 2006 and has served on numerous NAR committees including public policy coordinating, diversity and research.

English is a lifetime member of Hadassah and is a member of American Association of University Women (AAUW).
 
Liz, Ron, her husband of 46 years, and their cat, Georgie Girl, also seasonally reside in Westhampton Beach.
