REALTOR® Volunteer Effort with Long Island Homeless Coalition

LIBOR is a proud sponsor of Long Island Coalition for the Homeless (LICH) Back Pack Pirates initiative, an annual one-day summer camp experience for children ages 5-13 who live in shelters. 250 homeless and at-risk children will be invited to spend a day at a summer camp, packed with fun-filled activities like face painting, arts and crafts, swimming, a treasure hunt, and more.

LIBOR will be on-site supporting LICH during the event and is seeking 10 volunteers to help on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM at the Dorothy P. Flint 4-H Camp in Riverhead. (Rain date is Thursday, August 28.) Please only register if you are available to volunteer on both dates. LIBOR Volunteers will be tasked with Arts and Crafts and Beach supervision (note, there is a 1/2 mile walk to the water).
