State Senate 2024: Nassau Republican Jack Martins Makes Clear “I Am Running” for Re-Election

In a Twitter/X post targeting former Nassau County Legislator and newly declared State Senate candidate Josh Lafazan (D-Syosset), incumbent State Senator and former Mineola Mayor Jack Martins (R) hit back against rumors he would not run for reelection to represent North Shore Nassau's 7th District: “To be clear: I AM RUNNING… It’s on Team Martins!” Kim Kaiserman, a Democrat from Port Washington, recently announced her candidacy with the backing of Nassau County Legislative Minority Leader Delia DeRiggi-Whitton (D-Glen Cove) and former North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth (D).
