Home inspections are a vital part of buying or selling real estate. Two of the top reasons why agents are sued are failing to disclose a property defect and failing to recommend inspections*.

In this course, we will explore the purpose of various inspections and their value to both the buyer and the seller. The common types of inspections, who conducts them, and the condition issues likely to affect transactions will be reviewed.

Participants will learn the top condition issues that affect VA and FHA financing. We will also discuss best practices to handle inspection contingencies and negotiations and the impact of the various market conditions.

Attendance Policy for LIBOR Courses

If the class is approved for NYS CE: LIBOR strictly follows Section 176.6 of the NYS License Law – Article 12A. Students are only permitted to miss 10% of classroom time. If more than 10% of class time is missed for any reason, NYS continuing education credits will not be issued. All New York licensing classes follow the same law for permissible time missed.

Cancellation Policy for NAR Designation courses:

A cancellation 10 or more days before a class is subject to a $25 fee. No refund is available for a cancellation made within 10 days of class or for a no-show.
